When you look at the photo above, you see the ancient fountain of Fontebranda in the foreground, right near Catherine's house, where her father used the water for his textile dying business. Above that, you can see the Basilica of St. Dominic, where Catherine's head is now venerated. When Catherine was a child, she had a vision while walking in this area. Our Lord appeared above that church on a throne, accompanied by Saints Peter, Paul and John.
